When most internet marketers search for an optimized keyword to rank in the search engines, they think of a short and long tailed keyword related to a particular topic. For example if you wanted to blog about horse grooming. Most people would use the “Google Keyword Tool” and type in “horse grooming”. They would then look for related keywords with “Low” competition.

There is nothing wrong with this strategy but this does not bid well in the realm of creativity.  In order to be creative you must understand how people think…what makes them tick and what they are searching for. Then you must be able to optimize available tools.

Typically Internet marketers don’t use Titles to books or other products as keyword phrases. But this is an excellent way to pick up unwanted traffic. Just stop and think; don’t you look for reviews and ratings on a product before you buy? This traffic is “Super Targeted” traffic which makes it the best traffic. These Googlers are ready to buy. If there are enough good reviews then this type of prospect will buy.

1.How to create your prospect- Most people believe you must go out and hunt for new prospects. But that is not necessarily the case. Take Nike for instance. They don’t go after a particular group. They create their own group.  They understand that everyone wants to be hip to a certain extent. So they design a brand that is colorful enough to appeal to young people but subtle enough to appeal to older people.

You can also use the product “Just For Men” as an example. There is a hair die for younger men who are becoming grey and there is a die called “Touch Of Grey” that appeals to older men.

Lastly, you can use MoneyWeed.com as an example. Younger people can better tolerate a job, therefore they may not be interested in Internet marketing. Thus they may not be interested in my website. But they more than likely will think the logo is cool.

You can create your prospect by making your product appeal to all ages, races and sexes.

2.The power of a really strong follow up-This is how you make your first impression and it must be a strong and lasting one. Share a free e-book article or software. Do this with all your new prospects. Give away one of your best marketing secrets. This is where you don’t hold back. Give them that “Gold Nugget” that is going to significantly change their business. The goal here is to shift your prospect’s prospective in some way in order to get their attention.  

3.How to make sharable content-You have heard the term “The best things in life are free”. Well that is the case in some instances. Nevertheless, if you want information to go viral it must be something of significant value. So don’t hold back when using content to build your list. Thus you will build your list for free. In order to do this, you must take time to create really epic stuff. You are not going to be able to create super content every day. But you want to create something game changing at least twice per month. When you do this, people share your content and come back for more time and time again. Your prospects are now more than glad to fill in your opt in form(s).

What Are Your Marketing Methods? 

 The strategy is a 2-3 minute video. You want to keep your information short and straight to the point. Don’t you find yourself clicking away from written as well as video content because the information is not decisive and quick.  Don’t let this be you. Give your prospects what they came for….fast, valuable and to the point content. If you have more to say then create more videos.

Your video should have 3 elements.

1.     Introduction- It should be very short and a teaser as to what will be in the body of your content. So if you are doing something on list building, a couple of pointers in the beginning about what you are going to be talking about as far as list building goes and then you are going to transition immediately into 3 key points. Those 3 key points are going to be more elaboration of your introduction.

2.     You probably want to share those 3 things you are going to share in the introduction and then you will go into a little more depth in the body of your content.

3.     Lastly, you want to include your call to action.  Your call to action is the most important part of your video. Most marketers make the mistake of assuming the prospect knows what to do next. Nothing could be further from the truth. Tell your prospects what to do. You may want them to click on a link that opens into an opt-in form. You may want them to like(leave a comment) your page or some action that will induce your content into becoming viral.

They may just be holding you back.

1.   As a part-time business owner, do I have what it takes to be a Team Leader ?

If you own a part-time business you have what it takes to be a Team Leader. For example, I own a business, Grantham Enterprises LLC, I coach other online and offline marketers and I even ranked #2 in my primary opportunity, Magnetic Sponsoring, for the month of December 2012. No, I may not accomplish this every month, but most full time marketers can’t say they ranked #7 with Magnetic Sponsoring, not to mention #2.

As, I said before, it’s all about the mind-set. When people go on a diet, they eat half the amount they ate before. The same applies to a part-time business. You have half the time to work with as you would if you were working your business full-time. It can still be done. Just work with what you have and be efficient with the time you have.

2.   How do you motivate your team?

You cannot motivate your team. The best you can do is to lead by example. You can inspire them but you cannot get them to do anything. They must want it for themselves. These are the team members you should focus on. Help those who are willing to help themselves as long as they are willing to help themselves.  Share what you know with them. Don’t be selfish. It is a shame how some network marketers will hide what they have learned. But I have news for you. If you do this you will surely fail.

Without a system your team can duplicate, they will quickly burn out and bail out of your down-line.  If a person is not mentally prepared to run a business they want succeed anyway, regardless of what information you give them. You can give them all the tools and techniques you know, but if they do not wake up every day thinking about the fun they will have in their business adventure that day, then, more than likely, they are not excited about their business opportunity and are only in it for the money, then they have written themselves off.

If you really think about it…the fact that you are having success as a part-time business owner should be inspiration enough.

3. How Do I Manage and Lead my Team With So Little Time To Work With?

You DON’T! Do you think people enter Internet marketing to have another MANAGER? It may appear as though they do, but this group of people have finally realized that there is no freedom in a job. All they want is a process that works. So it is your job to relay it to them. Your role should be as a leader or coach and that’s it! Of course if you have some tips that will help your team along the way, please, relay them to your team.

However, most good network companies have a back office for it’s affiliates with all the training and work processes necessary for success. And, if you were smart, you joined your network marketing company under someone who is successful and willing to share what they know.

As a team leader you need to be able to communicate with your entire team at once, whether it be sharing another marketing concept or pass on an important file.

Today there are several popular Social Media platform that are excellent for this purpose. Google Hangouts, LinkedIn Groups and Facebook Groups are just a few of them. Here you can pass along files and converse about each of them.

Webinar platforms are also an excellent training and motivation tools for your team. Now days many, if not most, people are constantly on the go, so being able to communicate with your team via mobile devices is becoming more necessary each day. Personally, I use YelpText. With YepText  you can send out messages to your entire team at once. You can also use this tool to build your phone list.

The answer is simple if you take a look at yourself. What are you attracted to? You are attracted to someone who can get you what you want or what you need at the very least. You are attracted to someone who has the answers to your problems or can at least lead you in the right direction. You are attracted to someone who can help you along the way. But the key is a person must first be compelled to pursue you in the first place.

So there must first be something that is appealing to the ears, eyes or nose that resonates to the emotions. Once that wall is broken down you must portray sound value to your new found prospect or follower. It is one thing to attract someone, but is another to have substance enough to be labeled as an authority in your profession. But in order to do that you must be seen as someone who is relentless in helping others meet their goals or aspirations.

I remember when I begin selling Avon about 4 years ago. The person that recruited me was a great coach. Do you know someone, personally who purchases a bunch of clothes but never wears half of them. Or do you know of someone who goes to every sale JC Penny and Belk has. Yes, I believe purchasing a bunch of clothing is a waste of time and money. But I am using this example to make a point.  If you paid attention to the person who purchases clothing all time, you will notice they are usually better dressed than most people.

I am about to embark on something that many of you will disagree with, but I know I am right because I am an observer by nature.  From the thousands of hours of webinars and Internet marketing training I have taken, I’ve noticed the most successful Internet marketers are those who have spent tens of thousands of dollars on Internet Marketing courses. Moreover, most of them have blown tens of thousands of dollars on business opportunities.

And to make matters worse, most of the things they purchased they never even use. I am one of those people. But to relate to the shopaholic mentioned above, those who have spent the most money on their Internet marketing education and have blown the most money on business opportunities are the most successful Internet marketers.

When you have convinced yourself that you are going to be the best dressed and no one is going to come close to your gear, then you are going to become the best dressed if it bankrupts you. Internet marketing is no different. Most people have psychologically eliminated themselves from success by this very example.

I am glad I was able to save you lots of time today.  If you are not as mentioned above then Internet marketing is probably not for you. This is not an occupation for the faint or weary at heart. You must be a marketing golem that is as relentless as a hurricane-tornado combo.

You must be willing to die in battle if that’s the requirement to be a soldier. Hey Guys! Some times the fire is smoltering, waiting for a spark. You are enduring a time of confusion and uncertainty.  If you’ve had any success in Internet marketing you have experienced some cold spells…when the leads and sells slow down all of a sudden. You begin to question your own abilities. “What am I doing wrong’…What changed that I am not getting the same results?”

People there is no need to panic. It happens. Just stop for a moment and take a deep breath. Look at what is still working. If you look hard enough you will see that you are still having some success. But some of your lead and sales sources are tapering off.  All you need to do is continue what you are doing right and tap into other traffic and lead sources.  Like I stated in the Facebook post below, Magnetic Sponsoring has already done all the heavy lifting.  All we need to do as Magnetic Sponsoring Elite Partners is to find quality traffic.
