Everywhere we turn there are Internet Marketing companies and Affiliate programs springing up. There is a website mall on every virtual corner. Direct Sellers are shoving products through your chin at every outdoor event in America. Cooperative marketing is certainly the way to go. However, unless you have a booth set up at an event, recruiting direct sellers is the last thing you should be doing.
What I just said may sound crazy. But think about the last person you approached to pitch your business opportunity. You are familiar with the blank, “are you crazy” stare.
There is a softer and more credible way to present your business opportunity. Try selling yourself. No…not prostitution. Create a marketing website design that fits your personality. Do not promote your direct sales website by itself. Strategically place your direct sales website links or banners on your personal website.
Search engines despise affiliate links. Why would search engines want duplicated material? Bring something to the table like videos and free e-books. Invite your audience to a free webinar. Give your subscribers free tools to help them with THEIR direct sales opportunity. Did you catch that? Sell a generic product, one that can help anyone promote their business opportunity.
With competition increasing on the Internet, generic products are becoming more desirable each hour. So, take care of your visitors by giving them something to help them each time they visit. They will then desire to become close to you. And the only way they can accomplish this is by joining your business opportunity.
