Everywhere you look there is FREE FREE FREE! What is Free…nothing. You’ve heard the saying a million times. “You get what you pay for”. That is correct. If you got it free you got nothing.
A free website is a bland, lack luster low functioning website. I understand everyone has to start somewhere, but don’t you think you would be better off getting a part-time job and paying for a premium website? Besides, you want to attract premium customers and affiliates. That takes a website that depicts trust, stability and ease of use.
I will admit there are ways to overcome a free website, but it is time consuming and counter productive. If you have a free website, you will need to write some very impressive content to overcome an unappealing template that was given to you. You will also need to provide your audience with lots of quality free stuff to keep them coming back. This method could be a waste of time if visitors click thru your website while looking for a Wal-Mart grade website.
You know my stand on affiliate websites, but I would rather promote an affiliate link alone rather than use a free website. At least with an affiliate link, I can get people to join because sign up is free. There is actually nothing wrong with an affiliate website itself. The only problem is this site is a duplicate and ads not additional value to the Internet.
